On top of feeling of tiredness, lack of sleep can lead to illness, and increase the risk of heart disease and obesity. Lack of sleep can also lead to anxiety and problems concentrating. Hypnotherapy helps you tackle the potential causes of insomnia, and Read more…

Beat Stress

Stress causes the body to release the hormone cortisol, which is produced by the adrenal glands. In time, this can lead not only to unhealthy levels of body fat, but also to type-2 diabetes. In another recent study, researchers took a small group of three- and four-year-olds (all regular afternoon nappers) and not only deprived them of their afternoon nap, but also kept them up Read more…

How One In Five Have Given Up Smoking

Hypnosis is the most effective way of giving up smoking, according to the largest ever scientific comparison of ways of breaking the habit. Willpower, it turns out, counts for very little. Smokers are coming under increasing pressure to quit. Earlier this month the Institute of Actuaries published the results of a study it commissioned which showed that the mortality rate for smokers is twice as high as for non-smokers, and that, on average, a smoker dies six years earlier than a nonsmoker. Surveys suggest that three in four smokers would like to give up, according to the Read more…
