A new scientific study has found that e-cigarette mouthpieces can be teeming with fungi, including species linked to lung problems.
Researchers swabbed vapes used daily and discovered they were often colonised by fungi, including Cystobasidium minutum, a species that, in lab tests, caused chronic bronchitis-like symptoms in mice.
